In a state-of-the-art bridge steel structure plant, efficient and reliable material handling is crucial for maintaining production schedules and ensuring structural integrity. For this purpose, our company provided a set of electro-permanent lifting magnets designed to enhance the handling capabilities of the gantry crane used in the plant.

Challenges

1. Heavy Plate Handling: The plant deals with large and heavy steel plates essential for bridge construction. Handling these plates requires a reliable and robust lifting solution.

2. Safety and Efficiency: Ensuring that the lifting equipment is safe for both operators and the structure is paramount. Additionally, efficiency in handling to meet production targets is crucial.

The project involved supplying a set of 12 electro-permanent lifting magnet modules. Each module is capable of handling steel plates with 2 tons and the total safe working load of the whole set of lifting magnets is 20T. The lifting magnets are integrated into a gantry crane system, which is a key component of the plant's intelligent production line. This setup aims to improve the efficiency and safety of steel plate handling operations in the bridge steel structure production process.
The lifting magnets are engineered for compatibility with the existing gantry crane system. Their modular design allows for easy integration and adjustment, ensuring that they fit seamlessly into the plant's intelligent production line.
