1. Preparation
Inspect the Equipment: Before use, check the power supply, cables, and control switches to ensure the electro permanent lifting magnet is in good working condition.
Select the Right Tool: Choose a proper lifting magnet that matches the size and weight of the steel plate to ensure proper magnetic force and coverage.
Position the Tool: Move the lifting magnet above the steel plate, ensuring the magnetic surface is parallel and close to the plate.
2. Electro Permanent Lifting Magnet Handling the Steel Plate
Activate Magnetization: Use the control switch to power the electromagnetic coil, generating a magnetic force that securely grips the steel plate. This process takes just a few seconds.
Check the Grip: After magnetization, gently shake the tool to confirm the steel plate is firmly attached and there’s no risk of slipping.
Lift the Plate: Slowly lift the EPM tool and steel plate using a crane or hoist, ensuring a smooth and stable ascent.
3. Transporting the Steel Plate with Electro Permanent Lifting Magnet
Move the Plate: Transport the steel plate to the desired location, ensuring the path is clear of obstacles to avoid collisions or damage.
Position the Plate: Once at the target location, adjust the tool’s position to ensure the steel plate is accurately placed.
4. Releasing the Steel Plate
Demagnetize the Tool: Reverse the current or cut off the power to demagnetize the tool, releasing the steel plate safely.
Confirm Placement: Ensure the steel plate is securely placed and not at risk of tilting or sliding.
Complete the Operation: Turn off the power and move the lifting magnet away, completing the lifting process.
