Do You Supply Electric Hoist and Lifting Beam?
We don’t supply electric hoist, but below-the-hook of overhead crane lifting magnets. As to the lifting beam, we can manufacture it, together with magnet lifters, for you; or, to reduce the transportation cost, you can manufacture it by yourself.
Can Your Magnetic Lifting Equipment Handle Stainless Steel Material or Products?
No, our magnet lifting cannot pick up stainless steel parts, only suitable for ferrous products with good magnetic conductivity.
What’s the Minimum Thickness of Steel Sheet That Your Magnet Lifting System Can Pick Up?
The thinnest sheet that our lifting magnets can lift is 2mm, lifting 1 sheet each time without picking up the second sheet or multiple sheets. We’ve done related cases and can send them to you if need be. You can tell us your handling requirements, including the thickness and number of sheets you intend to handle. We can custom a set of magnetic lifting system for your application.
For thin steel sheets, vacuum lifting system is much cheaper than your EPM Magnet Lifting System?
Although vacuum lifter is much cheaper than our magnetic lifting system, it’s prone to wear and tear, and not as safe as the magnet lifting does, plus the high maintenance cost in the future. No slip or drop of load will occur when lifting with magnet lifters, as their magnetic force can remain even when the power supply suddenly goes off.
What Parameters Do I Have to Provide for Magnet Lifting?
- For plate handling, we’ll need to know the length, width, thickness, and type of material;
- For steel pipes/tubes, the diameter, wall thickness, length and weight are required;
- For specifically complicated parts, drawings or pictures will be extra needed.
Other information as to whether the lifting process is manipulated automatically, or manually, inside house or outside lifting, types of crane, the maximum hoisting weight and height of the crane, etc. may also be needed for customization of magnet lifting system.
