HVR MAG Electro Permanent Lifting Magnet for Thick Steel Plate Handling

Steel Plate, especially large one, are particularly difficult load to handle, when attempting to move with traditional method, plates have a tendency to flex or deform, making the lifting period become dangerous and unstable. HVR MAG Electro Permanent Lifting Magnets HEPMP Series specifically designed for transporting steel plate thicker than 6mm.

The HVR MAG adopts the advanced electro permanent technology from European; it is an easiest, extremely safest and most economist way.

Main Features :

1. EPMs suspended from fixed length spreader beam so that the maximum range of plates are covered.

2. Double Mag Cycle - this ensures the safe lifting of the load.

3. Power Control – Magnetic Power can be varied in 2 steps.

4. Magnets can be selectively switched according to the length of the plate being handled.

- Smaller Plates – Only internal magnets are switched ON.

- Larger Plates – All the magnets are switched ON.

5. Safety Interlock Key – 2 buttons are needed to be pressed simultaneously. This eliminates the chance of accidental operation.

6. ADPREM – Accidental Demagnetization Preventions Mechanism. Disable the demagnetization cycle when carrying load.

7. Lamp Block – Displays the systems present state.

8. Radio Remote Control – Operates from a convenient distance all the functions i.e, the landing detection is also available.

Advantages of HVR MAG HEPMP Series:

1. Applicability and Generality:

HVR MAG applies to double magnetic-sources technology and has a unique inside structure, which makes the lifting magnet more applicative and more general.

2. Incomparable Security:

Unlike traditional electro magnet, the HVR MAG does not need electrical energy during working, avoiding the risk of load falling caused by the loss of excitation when a sudden power failure or cable broken; the magnetic force can reach up to 16kg/cm² and will not decrease with time goes.

3. Energy Saving:

It only uses electricity in only 0.1~1second during the MAG and DEMAG phase, which saves more than 95% of energy compared to electro magnet; a simple control system makes the magnet light and it does not need to be equipped with battery.

4. Maintenance Free:

No movable parts inside, reducing the mechanical trouble caused by traditional lifting product and avoiding the damage of inside parts caused by impact of machine.

HVR MAG lifting magnets are commonly used for lifting single steel plate in the steel factory or docks, automatic cutting line, shipyards, steel distributions, steel plate processes line and other users of applicable steel products.
